Character Props

These are key and significant props which will be used in the opening sequence of our thriller. The first image shows the killers clothing, which is a hooded grey jumper and a white top. These clothes are distinctive as they represent the killer, and have significant clues such as the blood, and dirt marks. These clues can suggest they she was the murderer, and also helps the audience understand about her character.

Moreover, the other image is of her purse. This image is also a vital bit of information, as it clearly shows to the audience her identity and who she was. Also, the image clearly shows a credit card and a picture of her, which lets the audience see who she was, and what type of character she was.

Additionally, another key prop used within our opening sequence is the knife. This is very important as it plays a huge part within our sequence, such as the murder of the girl, but also for the murder of the other girl. During the opening sequence we see a variety of shots, which are used to represent the knife and what it portrays. An effective shot is when the girl drops the knife, after this a close up is quickly shown which shows detail of the knife including the blood dripping from it.
