Ideas

This image shows our planning and initial ideas. Some examples of initial ideas include:
  • Filming at either Brighton or Campsite
  • Having the film titles written with a finger against a steamed window
  • A murder scene, caused by a female killer
  • Mysterious and atmospheric music
  • Fast paced shots
  • Black screens
  • Slow titles appearing from darkness
This image also shows our planning, and nine key shots which will be the structure of our opening sequence. For instance, the first image shows that hand in the water. This will be used as a very key and effective shot, it will contain the hand lying in the water and a slight movement of the finger, which will create the water to ripple, and make atmosphere very tense. Also the second image shows a close up of the victims face, this allows the audience to capture emotions and what she was like. Moreover, other shots include the dropping of the knife, this shot is important as it will let the audience know what was used to kill the victim.
